The Program of Master of Arts in Cultural Studies is a multidisciplinary, diverse and innovative program. It is aimed to provide students with an in-depth knowledge of the various aspects of cultural discussion and research: pop music, pop culture, fine literature, "flight books," fashion, television and screen culture, digital culture, leisure and travel, erotica and sexuality, cultures and countercultures, urban culture and architecture, comics and science fiction. The Program in Cultural Studies examines the interrelations between culture and art, culture and society, culture and human thought. The program is interested in developing a deep understanding of cultural processes while studying the unique methodology of cultural studies. The program refers, among other issues, to the constitution of charismatic and popular idols such as Tarzan, Rambo, Superman, James Bond, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Bar Refaeli, and it offers a comprehensive perspective on the influence of major cultural icons like Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Brahms, Chekhov, Bialik, Argov, Mahfouz, Yona Wallach, Picasso, Abdel-Wahab, Umm Kulthum and Fairuz. The central issues in the Program's discussion and research of cultural studies:

* Encounters, clashes and negotiations between cultures and multiculturalism
* Body culture and eroticism
* Culture of memory, temporality and spatiality
* Subcultures, countercultures, and the gendered, sexual, ethnic and physical
* Screen, television and Internet cultures
* Culture as a useful interpretive, critical and philosophical instrument
* Visiting culture: tours and visits to a variety of cultural sites
The Program of Master of Arts in Cultural Studies offers an integrative and multidimensional approach to culture studies, in regard to its diverse aspects, genres and subgenres in the age of multiculturalism. The program's graduates would implement this knowledge in their following academic career, including doctoral studies, and in their professional career – as initiators and entrepreneurs in art projects, cultural coordinators and organizers of cultural events, etc. The program will also provide an in-depth understanding of the surrounding culture and the relationships between different cultures, which is essential for professionals, officials and executives in public administration, business management, media, public relations, law, education, museums, informatics and librarianship.
